Our trip so far - Saturday - day 2.5
So we left Fargo on Thursday evening (thus the .5 day) and stopped by Fergus Falls to pick up some more supplies from the Stenoiens, then headed west. (Well, we headed west until we had to go south on I-29, but then headed west again once we got to I-90.) Thursday we made it as far as Mitchell, SD and stayed in a hotel.
Friday morning we were already feeling more relaxed and glad to be so far into South Dakota on our first full day of traveling. We stopped at the Corn Palace in Mitchell before heading out of town. Heading west again, we drove through Badlands National Park, stopped at Wall Drug in Wall, SD and made it to Rapid City.
Our traveling so far has been rainy and cold, but hopefully it will get better before we camp in Yellowstone during the week. We were planning to camp last night but decided it would be much more enjoyable to stay in a hotel (and then we have Internet access too!)
